Bicycling, hiking, camping, rock climbing horseback riding, tennis, water skiing, and hunting are just a few of the many other activities that can be enjoyed by outdoor enthusiasts. If golf is your bag, give our nine hole course a try, it provides a challenge for the best of them. For your dining pleasure, there are a number of first class establishments, and the motels are first rate all the way. If its shop till you drop that you need, we have everything from clothing stores to fine art galleries and when you are finished, you can get your photo taken in the Old West setting. New to the area in 1995 is the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, displaying dinosaur bones found only minutes from town. Last but not least, the history of Thermopolis would not be complete without the Indian. Petrogliffs and artifacts of the Arapahoe and Shoshone tribes are abundant in and around Thermopolis.
